Traverse Global v11.2 - Service Repair
Components Pegging View
Use the Components Pegging View function to view where the demand for components originates, pegging the component to the main assembly.
Note: This view shows you all of the sales orders, sales forecasts, production orders, purchase orders, and purchase requisitions that affect the availability of the selected item.
The Component Pegging View is similar to the Item Activity View except that it uses a period definition ID to try to emulate the way a Standard RP Report would actually calculate availability on a period by period basis. All transactions are shown but the Applicable check box allows you to see which transactions are actually applicable and which ones are not.
It's important to select the same period definition ID as was used on the Standard RP Report and the same starting date to get accurate results. A day earlier or a day later could affect the output of the report or view.
- Select the item for which to view component pegging information from the Item ID field.
Note: The Location ID and Unit fields display the default information from Inventory. Adjust these fields if necessary. - Select the time period for which you want to view information from the Period Definition ID field.
- Click the Apply button, in the toolbar, to generate the demand for the selected item.
